The Loyalty Group

The Loyalty Group is one of the most successful loyalty program and advanced customer relationship management (CRM) firms in the world. Their incredibly successful AIR MILES program is active in over 70% of Canadian households.

 

Objective: The Loyalty Group required a redesign of their vendor extranet to achieve the following goals:

 

  • make the extranet extremely simple to use and very utilitarian in design/purpose, to maximize adoption and efficiency;
  • employ a robust and extremely user-friendly content management system to improve the internal system user experience;
  • increase the level of service provided to vendors and partners;
  • reduce the costs associated with providing services to vendors and partners; and,
  • create a platform to expand the types of services offered to vendors and partners online.

 

Solution: Loyalty engaged DJiNN Software Inc. to work with their designers and implement a JADE-based self-serve extranet. Functionality included:

 

  • a robust user management module for Loyalty extranet members;
  • vendor self-management for user accounts;
  • complex campaign creation and planning tools;
  • secure and confidential access to various types of material; and,
  • various links to internal and external Loyalty applications.

 

Technology: The following technology is incorporated into the Loyalty system:

 

  • JADE web management system
  • MySQL RDBMS (database)
  • JSP presentation layer (web pages)
  • Apache/Tomcat web server platform

 

Project Statistics: The site deployment was completed on time and on-budget within 60 days. DJiNN continues to work with The Loyalty Group on enhanced functionality and services as they expand their online capabilities.
