Our Fees

If you ask most consulting or system integration companies how they charge for their services you will almost always get an hourly rate, a sliding scale, or some blend of fixed fee with contingency.  We do EVERYTHING under a fixed fee agreement - no matter how small or how large the job.  More importantly, this fixed fee is GUARANTEED - for a well-defined and jointly understood scope of work.  We abhor Change Requests that involves a change in the project budget.  We recognize that dealing with such changes is a painful and time-wasting process for you and us!

We also 'give away' a lot of time and effort up front before we charge you anything.  It doesn't appear to make business sense until you think it through.  Traditional consulting or system integration companies spend a lot of time and money on sales, marketing and proposal development.  Only a small fraction of the prospects eventually lead to billable work.  This is inefficient. Selling to new clients is difficult because of the rapport and trust that must be built for each prospect. We value our long term relationships with our clients.  We spend our sales, marketing and proposal development budget on supporting your business and helping you leverage the investment you have already made in your applications.  This provides more consistent returns for us and more value for you.  By joining forces in this manner we are both better off.

• We provide free support when you need someone to 'talk technical' to your clients or business partners.
• We provide free input into your planning and discussions around new features and direction for your software.  We don't want you to get bogged down in counting hours and negotiating fees in order to pick up the phone.  We want to be as accessible to you as if you walked down the hall to chat with a colleague.  It is the spirit of the partnership.
• We provide free, up-front, requirements analysis and scoping for most work, no matter the size.  We need to do this to provide with certainty, a fixed fee for our services.  When the scope or technical unknowns are too much to provide a fixed fee we give you a fixed cost for the research needed to resolve those unknowns.  So whether it's a $200 change request or a $100,000 major addition you will know what you're getting and the cost - with certainty - before you make the decision.
